As of about 2-3 weeks ago, my beloved RY4 suddenly changed flavors on me! It doesn't taste bad; it's just noticeably different (although clearly still in the same "flavor family").

Has anyone else noticed this with their most recent batch of RY4 cartos or juice? (I'm still working through the juice I bought 2 months ago.)

It just may be that my taste buds are still "adjusting." (Not quite 4 months yet under my belt.)

I haven't actually compared the juice to these new cartos. I just have a bunch of prefilled cartos from previous orders all mixed into a box, and the latest boxes definitely tasted different from all the others.

(And since this is one of my go-to vapes, the flavor difference happened "overnight" when I opened up a new carto from a new box. I can still taste a difference between the newer cartos and the older ones.)

Eleanor, I'm almost at four months myself and this keeps on happening to me with different flavors. Some get better, some get worse. Not saying there's nothing different with your RY4 - I guess there could be. I've gotten in the habit of shelving flavors that get weird and coming back to them later. In very few cases do I find that steeping makes a difference...... but that's just me!

Thanks Lisa, I though it might just be a taste bud thing . . .glad it's not just me! :)

maybe v4l got the ry4 that was supposed to go to that "other" vendor

Nah, I've had their version - - even this "new" RY4 is better than that! :D

I am definitely no expert. I do have some questions I believe might be relevant. Do you only vape ry4, or do you have multiple flavors? When vaping do you have a couple set up and vape flavors intermittently. I ask because my wife stays to one flavor at a time, and then she finds herself sick of that flavor (taste different to her) while I vape 3 different at a time, and usually change those flavors every day or every other day. When my wife says her favorites are tasting bad, I try them and they are the same. My wife and I both quit on Feb 11, 2011. I know that our taste buds are changing and both of find that flavors move up and down on our list our favorites list, except when she says hers taste bad she has not gone back to it.

I find that things taste great in the morning but by evening everything tastes "off." I am ADD when it comes to my flavors. I have 5 batts with different flavors going at all times. I try to switch it up but sometimes I think one flavor contaminates the others and then everything tastes like ca ca. I am still trying to find my "groove." I thought I was odd not liking any of the fruit flavors except for cherry cordial (the chocolate made it for me, if it was straight cherry I probably wouldn't like it.) I mixed blueberry with french vanilla ice cream today and I really like it. I have also found at least for me that the flavors get better as I'm vaping them. First hits aren't too good to me until I guess it's "warmed up" some. Is all this strange?

Do I have multiple flavors? [Snicker. Snort] Bless your heart, Timrichard, I have about 8-10 "everyday" flavors through which I rotate! If I had more money, it would probably be more like 20 . . .

Yours was a good suggestion, but does not apply in my case. Thanks anyway!:)

No. Pretty normal, I'd say!:2cool:
