I have received my S6 and I am loving it. I just need to know if I am doing something wrong, when I put the cartomizer on the S6 I get almost no air flow so it doesn't allow me to get a good drag, actually almost no drag. I find it hard to believe that it won't take a carto. If it won't that would not be good since I just bought 25 from liquid express.

Are you using 808 or 510 cartos?

I found the same issue with some brands of the 808s - some worked and some didn't.
Unfortunately, there are so many different carto and atty suppliers, it is difficult for the PV manufacturers to keep up. Slight differences in the carto design, or lack of quality control, and they react differently.

For a fix, I used a Dremmel and cut a fine grove accross the contact and threads of my 901/808 adapter. Now they all seem to work fine.

As far as 510 cartos, I have yet to have an issue.

Hey Brock
Tried removing the o-ring first, but it didn't help. It just looks like a couple of brands need more air, due to the design. The relief that David cuts into the contact works for most but others need a little extra help. Cutting a fine slot did the trick, for me.

I've nevr bought any from liquid xpress but have them from CigEasy, ELiquidPalnet and PureSmoker and they have all worked like a dream.....

You may have a few that the well is too deep on. Try removing the rubber o-ring to expose more of the adapter hole for the ones that screw down to much.... (Just a thought)

yes, i've seen this issue before with some of those 510 cartos. Take a look at the air holes on the Cartomizer, they are located just above the threads. On the ones i have, several of the air holes were blocked by the plastic insulator on the inside of the carto that seperates the center post from the outer threads.
