I have been searching the last couple of months for info on the same questions, but no recent info though. What I come across, will post here.

Government Regulation Gazette No 35149, 15 March 2012, Vol 561 No 9714 says nicotine products less than 10mg are schedule 2 and more than 10mg are schedule 3 medicines, both available only on prescription I think, although schedule 2 may be allowed to be sold over the counter from pharmacies.

Any chance you could ask a couple of vendors and have them tell you what the score is for:

- commercial import via Customs
- sales of hardware
- sale of nic liquid
- sale of zero-nic liquid

Also from the individual's perspective:

- postal delivery of supplies from abroad

As far as I can tell there is no regulation regarding hardware, only liquid or cartridges containing nicotine.

I have had no problem getting supplies from the USA or China, but I ask the suppliers not to mark liquid as nicotine.
