I ordered my holster on Wed. night and it was "born on 8/19/2010"! Amazingly fast creation. I did communicate with Mike prior to ask about a plain holster and he definately produced it. I recv'd it moments ago on Sat., amazing cross country trip and speed.
The construction is top notch!! Very sterdy and exactly what I was looking for. He also includes personalized care instructions with the born on date. Of coarse there is a breaking in period for all leather and the Saber is a little snug, but that will change soon. As it's recv'd there are other mods that do fit in nicely as well, such as the Silver Bullet. It's about time we had a true craftsman to produce something of this nature and quality.
He's also in the process of making lanyards too! I'll certainly be ordering one of those too and possibly another holster!
