I feel your pain. I had one of my batteries psyche me out and I thought it died, so I went and bought the Riva kit and my husband bought an eGo kit. So now I have 2 510s 'cause the one didn't really die, one eGo and two Rivas. The Rivas will stay in their box until necessary. I was mad as heck when I thought I was down to one battery. Won't happen again. :)

Yeah its tough with the postal and other delivery services out there, its so unpredictable even when the supplier does everything right by getting the order shipped super fast. If you run into an emergency you can always post something on the forum with your location and I can pretty much predict the members here will go out of their way to meet up with you to give you something to borrow.

I second that on getting a passthru. I makes you feel a lot more secure in the case of failures.

Also, sorry to hear that you're down to one battery. It can be hard enough waiting for one to charge.

My favorite is THIS

Great price and you can use it as a regular battery by unplugging it.

Luvs stick the box in the fridge til you need it. Li-ion batteries keep better at cooler temperatures.
Put the 510 batts in the fridge?? I have an extra 3 batteries and I will try this!!
Right now, I am picturing all my mom's cats have taken it and set up a kitty vaping lounge in the basement.
Omg- I am laughing so freakin hard tryin to picture this!! I needed the laugh too- thank you :)

that's why my rommate's cat is not allowed in my room when i'm not in here. he stole my 1 watt Streamlight one night. he jumped up on my desk, grabbed it in his mouth (right in front of me), hopped down and went into the kitchen to play with it.

i think we have the most entertaining/mischievous cat ever. i need to get a video of him destroying a roll of paper towels or toilet paper one of these days. i left him in my room alone for 10 minutes one time and when i got back my floor was covered in shredded paper towels. he even managed to take the roll off the 2nd to top shelf on my book shelf.
