I must reply about Vamo killing Zmax/sigelei - regarding looks I would never ever use Vamo even if I got it for free.

It looks so cheap that it's awful. And display part with those two buttons looks like little chinese guy is looking at me and laughing. Everytime I go for a drink with my friend (Vamo user) I laugh at that picture... really, I always see that chinese guy.

With the extra width of the unit for battery and circuitry next to each other why did the make the length so much longer then the 18650?
I was hopeing for something smaller appx size of a pack of stinkies that would drop in a pocket.

Mamu's mods are not it least bit ugly and they're original too.
These are "unrefined" to say the least, I wouldn't insult mods like the Denali by comparing it to these.

I like the looks of the T-Max but I see no point in the 18350 batt inclusion. That just makes for a bulkier unit and more circuitry to be concerned with. I assume it offers an OHM/resistance readout for the device connected to it?
A smaller unit that would accept one 18650 only and I would be on it.

I think its interesting that everyone likes to tout the Vamo as being the Provari killer when in actuality all its killed is the Z-Max.You hardly ever hear any threads about it any more.

Same dynamic might be in play here.

Just an FYI to the OP though, I get 12-14 hours life out of my single batteries and extreme caution should be used whenever stacking batteries.

Not in the T-max
You can't use both batteries at the same time but you can install one 18350 and one 18650 at the same time. Only one retaining cap has a spring to complete the circuit. If the battery being used goes dead, you can change the cap and fire off the other battery.

The t max can hold a 18650 and a 18 something smaller. But only one end cap has springs inside. So to use the second battery you just switch end caps. This sounds like a great back up to my provari. Now to just find load tests.
