Sad day in my neck of Reoville

a couple weeks ago i sent a Woodvil Grand i got from the classies to the spa to restore it back to its original awesomeness.

my tracking number said it was delivered on 8/22. i was reluctant to bug the modmaster, but i finally caved and PMd Rob today. a couple hours ago, Rob confirmed my worst fears. He never received it.

i am absolutely convinced that this guy has it.

i was trying to console myself with my 490 cocobolo, but i managed to drop that and the driptip broke off the brass RM2, so now i gotta figure out how to extract a driptip skeleton from the inside of an RM2. sheesh...

and before you ask, no- i was too stupid to think about insurance (which is the real take-home of this post) for me, i see a lot of self-flagellation in my future. sigh

I went back to the thread and read the whole thing . It was a great read with a happy ending . I try to keep up as best as I can . I am just to busy most days . Once you guys buy me that replicator you will be trying to get rid of me .

.....I seriously doubt THAT. And we've taken up a collection, but we're trying to find a replicator on sale, or waiting for a blem......

Ah I am glad to hear it was resolved. We all make mistakes and I'd much rather that happen then have a sticky fingered postman somewhere along the way!
