Sad story

Hi everybody, let me tell you a very sad story. I have two mounths cheching for a penelope and around the 10 of January I was looking for a Penelope on the classifieds here, in vapor wall and Modtrader at Facebook, then I found a post about a Penelope for sale from Chris Braddock I contact him and then I agree to pay 170 dollars for a Penelope so I pay him by PayPal and yesterday I received a package with only a clear tank from Kir Fanis but with three cracks and almost broken, then I thought that there was the penelope, but there was nothing I thought there was a mistake and send a PM to Chris Braddock, but he write this to me:

"R u fuxkin seriois?what the ......this is bul.... dont worry the package was insured for 200.00 im goinh down to po box at 9a.m im ....in ...... wen it left the usps iy was completly secure i sent u those pic wen it was mailed..wow i cant belive that thiera some ....ed up ppl..all i nned to do is fill out a claim u do the same at usps.comAnd i told u the pene tank had a small crack but still useable if it had 3big cracks then it def was mishandled and misused..dont worry wel get this taken care of"

But since He send me the package with a declare weight of 4 ounces and when I check the weight of the same package and it has 3.17 ounces, then I am almost sure that a Penelope don't weight less than one ounce then he never send it to me, so I will put a claim on Paypal, so I don't know what else to do, you can not imagine the pleasure it gave me to see the package thinking I had my penelope and total disappointment when I saw that it didn't came in the package.

Sorry to hear your story. Seems these types of stories are appearing more and more. Hope you get things sorted soon. And good luck in your search for the Penelope. I too am searching for one in the GG sellers sites. Not an easy task.

I have dealt with chris in the past and have not had any problems...He sent me an item, It did have some flaws with it, but he made me quite aware of them. He also included an extra item worth about $30 to compensate for the flaw/imperfection.

It is unfortunate that you received the package like you did, but I don't think it was intentional. I am sure it will be taken care of.

Also check the thread at vaporwall: Problems with trades and sales in Classifieds! and the WALL OF SHAME, I wrote a lot about your issue with Chris Braddock, it is not the first time he has scammed somebody and it seems he has a modus operandi to rip off people outside USA, he just got banned on almost all the trading groups on facebook and on some forums, his nickname on vaporwall was bigdog84.

He has scammed to thomssi from Finland at vaporwall, thomssi sent him GGTS #2763+ ZAG as a hybrid to trade for orion and spheroid and Chris Braddock claimed that the package was empty, now fixlyob bought a Penelope from him through Mod Trader facebook group, after the transaction he deleted the post.

As UA72Riddle said at VW, I would think this would fall in to the category of Internet fraud.

LSVap said the guy had done this before in the AR15 forums.

So, start a Paypal dispute ASAP !


Imeo, I know it could not be the place to discuss this, it is just that I'm so mad, I just can't believe there could be people like that, some days ago I answered him a post he made here about the GGTS adapter...

Fix, I am really sorry about this. I feel a little responsible because if I had bigger production then things like this wouldnt happen. But classies are not a safe place always. Or to say it better, its safe by a very big percent but not 100%. I really hope that this issue will be solved ASAP. Maybe this guy that did it to you secures the packages for a big amount of money and then he takes the money from the post offices before he send you the real stuff. Who really knows

Oh, wow....I did not realize that Chris Braddock was that guy!...I would have not dealt with him. I don't think I have his address but I do have his email. I may be able to find it, if that would help anyone.
