A lot of people have them and don't have issues. OTOH any device can fail even if it's an expensive one. It's a good idea to check for heat the first few charge cycles and battery voltage after the first few charges are finished. It should be very close to 4.2 volts. Anything higher will reduce battery life. The actual specification is 4.2V +-0.05.
