I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I don't see why not. I would be careful how much you add, but vanilla is a flavour extract. I would be inclined to use the real stuff though as opposed to the synthetic. I dropped in some menthol flavouring the wife uses for cooking to the GRBC "Rugged" and it has been working fine. I am still breathing anyway... Better wait til a more experienced vaper shows up though.

Spartiatis! (love the name. RIP Andy Whitfield) most flavorings use PG as a base anyway, so yes, it can be added to your juices. I experimented with adding Vanilla, Rum etc flavours to juices that were weak, and they did make them better.

What you want to watch out for are the oil based flavourings like orange, almond, clove etc, as they can quickly mess up your atty/cartos. Look at the ingredients and make your call. Also, a very little goes a long way, depending on how strong the flavouring is. You want to add a couple drops, mix well, really well..and let it sit. Let the flavours interact with each other and then give it a try. If you need more, add more..

Hope this helps..

I was looking into the same thing ...

From what I have found most people debate on using real vanilla or artificial vanilla, but with vanilla you have to be careful to make sure it does not have any kind of sugar. The sugar or caramel will clog your coil. Also if the base is alcohol you will have to let it steep the alcohol off the juice before vaping.

I've used artificial vanilla with some success, but the alcohol definitely needs to be steeped off. I didn't see where the Michael's brand actually listed its composition - whether it's pg based or not. There's a few places I've found on the net that specifically site their products as pg based - might want to go that route.

I use Capella's Vanilla Custard to either mix up a batch of DIY or to even add a single drop to spruce up some dull flavored juices..... also makes a nice tiny enhancer (1 drop) to a whole pot of bean brewed drip coffee... mmmmmmmmmmmm

Be forewarned though......... THIS STUFF IS MUCHO POTENT ON FLAVOR in just one tiny drop !!

Hard to say because the ingredients were not listed however, most food grade flavorings are safe and ok to use. Like Dusty D said you want to stay away from extracts containing oil because they can ruin your equipment over time. If you are looking to add some flavor to a pre-mixed juice, I would stay away from any flavoring containing alcohol because it will diminish vapor production.

For the type of flavoring that was pictured in the link, you don't need to order online, you can simply go to your local supermarket and pick up some Mccormicks flavoring .... just read the labels because pure extracts tend to contain oil... oh and I DIY all my juice ;-)

They are all safe for human consumption or else they wouldn't be sold as flavouring for food, baking and candy.

That being said, they are unsuitable for our needs because they are not concentrated enough. This is why this type of thread is better suited for DIY sub where folks could provide solid advice instead of people winging it.

Capellas, Perfumers apprentice, FlavourArt, and Lorans are all suited for our needs. The rest don't past the test!

"Real" vanilla extract is vanilla beans steeped in alcohol for a few months -- usually rum or vodka or just plain PGA. So yeah, it's mostly alcohol and water. Artificial vanilla is usually PG-based.

Any flavouring, so long as it is PG-based, is fine. Look on the ingredients list. If it says "oil" anywhere, don't use it. Alcohol is usable, but not entirely recommended. Water or propylene glycol is what you really want. Preferably PG.
