I know first hand these liquids are tank crackers, but do you all store these triacetin based liquids in glass dropper bottles or is it okay to keep them in plastic ones? I noticed the tops of a couple of my bottles I have been using are kind of cracked at the top, but other than that they seem okay. I suppose my main concern would be if any plastic will leach into these liquids, I don't want to vape plastic.

I don't knowingly purchase triacetin based flavors myself - but I think I may have a few that I haven't yet recognized. If I were going to use them, I'd DEFINITELY keep them in glass (having seen what some of them do to plastic tanks first hand). I think you're right to assume that plastic would "leech" and then you'd be inhaling plastic (and a chemical known to melt certain plastics).

I don't know of the safety aspect of it, but personally, I would transfer them to glass just to be on the safe side.

Was just about to post this. If it'll break thick plastic used in tanks, it'll definitely start melting the squishy plastic used in bottles.

I *strongly* recommend you use only glass containers for liquid of this caliber.

Thanks for the replies. I'll be glad when they finally come out with some studies about the safety of these chemicals we inhale. My thinking is it HAS to be safer than cigarettes, but would still love to see some data.

Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced source for small glass bottles?

Check out one of those herbal shops. They're bound to have glass bottles that have droppers built into the lids.

I don't recommend vaping something that "HAS to be safer than cigarettes". Just because something might be safer, doesn't make it safe. Isn't safety the whole reason we switched to vaping?
