i dugg the story, and used this quote as the tag line "According to the Food and Drug Administration an electronic cigarette has 3.87 nanograms of carcinogens compared to 4300 in a Marlboro cigarette." I think the reporter got it wrong and the numbers were from a different study, but I wanted to perpetuate an alternative distortion of the FDA study.

CJsKee, your comment isn't up yet.

Check out this link. It was posted (but truncated) in one of the comments. I did a search on the site and found it.

http://www.michigan.gov/documents/mdch/E_cig_factsheet_for_SF_law_website_FINAL_320296_7.pdf

This document claims that FDA won the case that bans the import of e-cigarettes in the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Doesn't the state of Michigan employ any attorneys?

OK, call me a busybody. I filed a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General's office that the document in question contains incorrect legal information and suggested that someone from that office provide the correct legal interpretation to MDCH.
