Does this mean there is Halal glycerin out there too?

One good/bad I did see but not directly is that PG is metabolised by humans into good energy and lactic acids, the latter of course is the cause for gout type illnesses if the body is unable to detox them acids out which is why we really need some decent research on inhalation, metabolic rates, short, medium and long term effects and additives to the system because without these, governments/big pharma and tobacco are going to continue to frighten people into not using or allowing the e-cig regardless of which glycol used.

Most good juices will label what the mix ratio is. Although Halo juice is supposed to be one of the best juice lines you can get and they don't have any ratio call outs at all?? You can only choose your nic level with them.

Halo performs for me very close to 60/40 or 50/50. It probably varies per flavor, and they're mixing for optimal flavor.

I Have a question....does a 60vg/40pg mix effect the taste of the juice? I got some and it just did not taste right. I have been getting a 50/50 mix but I wanted a bit more vape on exhale.

Yes. VG is sweeter tasting. Also, it doesn't carry the flavor as well as PG does. It has more visible vapor though. PG is harsher IMO, has less vapor but more flavor. The nic has a lot to do with TH too. Nic is "peppery".

Thanks for all of the great info here guys. Until we get all this figured out, I'm sticking with 100% VG. There are some good articles referenced here. - Why 100% VG? - Pure VG

Bubkis. Sorry.

Nothing is authoritative in those links...the 3rd one is an FDA grant approval, not a conclusion. The other two are from "Natural News" and "eHow".

Of course, it's up to you. But PG is better understood. By far. And for you sub-ohm 30 watt-ers...it's the VG that could most easily produce acrolein...although with normal e-cig use it doesn't. It should vaporize at a low enough temp to avoid production of acrolein.

Also some report "heavy lung feeling" with too much VG.

(All IMHOpinion)
The bottom line is that we don't really know. I think PG is probably a bit more irritating, but VG may have other issues. Crap shoot.
