Salt?

What an interesting idea. I live on salt, I can't put enough on whatever I eat. Since it seems to me that I like vaping flavors that I enjoy eating, adding a little saltiness might be a good idea.

I'd like to hear more as well. I appreciate SunnyMoon coming up with this different direction to take all of this.

health stores sell himalayan salt inhalers which are these devices to breathe himalayan salt --which is pure with no anti-caking agents like regular table salt. it's used by people with asthma and allergies to relieve congestion, so i would think it's safe to inhale (pure) salt. you can buy himalayan salt shakers at Trader Joe's for around $3 if i remember correctly.

Anyone ever tinker with adding something to make juice a teenie bit salty? Dissolve salt in water or PG? Iodized, non-iodized, sea salt? Any ideas anyone?

Hmmm.... Interesting question. What about a pure saline solution (think: nasal spray)? Arm & Hammer makes one that has no additional ingredients, just "purified water and 0.9% sodium chloride".

I read that another ECF member (can't remember who off the top of my head) used something like this in a recipe I read just a couple of days ago. I believe he said to be sure that the saline does not have preservatives in it - that it is only water and .9% salt.

I've also read members wanting to add salt to bacon-flavored vapes...maybe they came up with a solution?

devices to breathe himalayan salt

Whoa, now that's interesting! I've worked in health food stores quite a bit and I've never seen one of those. I thought at first you were talking about a neti pot, which I've used for years. Actually I was going to mention at some point that using a neti pot might be helpful along with vaping, but didn't want to bring up health benefits, yada yada. It is helpful for dry sinuses and nasal passages. The salt idea is interesting but would it even work?
