Salvaging Connectors from Dead Batteries

Ok, I dont know if this belongs here or in the modders forum, but I have been trying for the last 30 minutes to salvage a connector from a dead 510 battery. I cant get the thing out of the tube without destroying it in the process. I say this because i tried the same thing on a dead 801 passthrough last week and mangled the connector. Anyone have any advice on a simple way to do it without mangling the connector?

dremel about 1/2 inch down. if it seems to take more than 1/2 sec to cut through move down a little more.

hacksaw blade? tin snips?you'll know if you're in the right place. it's a very thin piece of metal. a kitchen knife might work too. especially if it's a GINZU. hehe

Get one! I found myself skipping on tons of projects before I had one, so I finally just forked out the cash for one I'm glad I did.

If you keep a dead atty around, most times you can use that while attached to the battery to wiggle the connector loose.

I know this wasnt your question but you can get these at madvapes for about a buck or so each if that helps any..
