Same Liquid - Different Color (Say What?)

So I bought two 30 ml bottles of the same liquid, with the same specs, from MBV. Both have the same born on date. Is it normal for the colors to be so dramatically different? In the past, this flavor has been more like the darker one. I contacted MBV and they said just to let them steep. I'd understand that if they both looked the same. Anyone have any ideas as to why one would be so much darker than the other with all things supposedly being equal? It just seemed odd.

i know my vg unflavored nicotine turns yellow after a while, when i first receive it, it is crystal clear. It's possible they used an older batch of nicotine in the yellow one. or perhaps maybe forgot to put flavoring in the other? lol. have you tasted them do they taste the same?

In my experience, juice gets darker with age. Perhaps the lighter one came from a newer batch since born on date probably just means when they filled the bottle and not when the juice was created. That's the only thing I can think of.

Ok, thanks guys. Honestly they're not even for me. I picked them up for my brother-in-law as part of my order. He's got other liquid, so I'll have him steep them and give them a little time. Customer Support was cool and said that if I still had an issue to let them know after steeping. I tend to agree that they're probably fine though. I just found it odd.

No problem.
My first bottle of RY4 from Maple Leaf Vapes was almost black in color. The second bottle I got was, and still is, a dark yellow. They both taste the same though.

Just an update... After giving it more than a week to steep the cap was cracked. Turns out there was no nic in the liquid. MBV made good on it and offered me a credit or a new bottle. I elected to have a new bottle sent out. Great custmer service! ..... happens.
