Same wattage, different results?

I've had this thought that it must be better to use high voltage and high resistance to get the same amount of watts, if your device is capable of high voltage. Is this true? In other words, using the same exact carto/clearo and device, to result 8 watts will it be the same coming from 3.6v+1.6ohm compared to 4.4v+2.4ohm

You should get the same vapor, throat hit, flavor at 8 watts, yes. Some say less tear on the coil and atty using higher voltage more ohms... amps can be a factor.
