That's funny because I worried that anyone who had ever bummed a cigarette would think I was calling them a skank...lol. Which is not at all what I meant... I've just had more experiences with the skanko cigarette bummers of the world. Like I had a 'every loser can bum a smoke here' sign or something...

Glad you didnt take offense...you guys are extended support group in the quest to stay smoke free and I'd feel bad if I offended anyone.

Now as far as skanko's go...I have had actual homeless people come up and bum a cigarette, practically pester you for the last bit of it.

We may all have different hearts as to whether to give something away...after all giving a cig away would not break the bank, but I always said no because it was usually when i was outside a job taking a smoke break...once you give 1 away, you might as well carry a pack for the guy.

I'm sure most of the skankos I came in contact with had homes... I'm a sucker though, so I always gave one to them. I actually remember when you could buy single cigarettes at convenience stores for like .10.....

The coolest thing happened one day this week. Somebody asked if they could bum a smoke from me. As I pulled out my e-cig and smiled I said "sorry, no". I am all for helping your fellow man, but I used to work retail in a not so nice part of town and had 5-10 strangers a day ask to bum a smoke.. it kinda wore me out on giving away such expensive things.
