The kit came with 2 attys. But no drip tip.

No I'm only guessing... I pull the atty apart and drip directly onto the bridge? If so how many drips?

It should have some cartridges with the white filler in them. Just pull the filler out and use that as your drip tip.

Blow the primer out of the attys first. From the cartridge end. Blow into a tissue or paper towel til nothing comes out.
Then drip 3 or 4 drops of you liquid right on to the bridge. Let it sit a minute or two, put the empty cartridge back on and then vape.

It might take a few hits to get it going good and burn off the rest of the primer. You can get about 7-10 good drags before you need to put in another 2-3 drops.

When dripping on an atty, or drip carto, it's best to do about 4 drops and let it sit for a few minutes for the juice to get where it needs, wick or otherwise. After you give it 4 drops and wait, if you're still getting that burning feeling I would give it another drop or two, wait a few more minutes and give it another go.

definitely getting a burnt taste. How long should a couple of drops last? should I keep vaping until I cant get anymore vape out of it, and then add some more ?

Burnt taste means refill for sure. You puff on it like that too long and that cartomizer will forever be tainted with that nasty flavor. Oh and quick question to all: All I've been using is cartomizers... I haven't ever tried an actual atomizer with separate cart or drip tip for direct dripping. How does all that work, and do they make them for my KR808D1. Also, is there any way to direct drip in a cartomizer? Like just a few drops to test a flavor? Maybe just remove the foam filler or something?

Blow it out then run some pure pg/vg though it then blow that out, it will freshen it up for ya for the next flavor, but, once a flavor is loaded it is hard to get it completely out without doing a full cleaning, the 901 Atty or 510 though will work good for you for sampling flavors to see if ya like em.

I'd like to add here... at this point you'll STILL be burning off what's left of the primer and it'll taste pretty bad, so I don't inhale it yet. Just draw it in & blow it out, giving the atty a moment to cool between draws. I'm pretty new at this stuff so not sure this is the best way, but it seems to be working.

AFAIK The KR808 is strictly a 2pc design, with battery & carto; if anyone makes attys for them I don't know about it. If yours has a manual battery it should be possible to MAKE an atomizer by carefully removing the filler from a carto without disturbing the coil, bridge, etc. but it's kinda tricky. Someone has a video on Youtube about doing this, probably on a 510 carto, and I've done it successfully on a few 510s myself so I see no reason why it wouldn't work on an 808. I'd suggest experimenting with an old carto that works but is beginning to get an "off" flavor to it. Save a few of those to play around with, so when you fumble one you haven't really lost anything. Also, if I was using an auto battery I wouldn't even consider this. Good luck!

Another question. When sampling different flavors. Do you clean the atty between each sample?

If you are using similar liquids, it may not be necessary to clean the atty each time you switch. It will take a couple of times to clear the old flavor out. If you are switching from a menthol to a non-menthol, for instance, you would need to clean the atty thoroughly.

Some flavors can be very persistent, even after cleaning, but will eventually go away.

Expect about 2 or 3 drags per drop of juice. I found, that after the initial break-in, adding 3 drops each time was about right.
