i quite enjoy the vape from my Samurai but occasionally i will over drip and find juice oozing from the lower air slots,
i've overcome this by cutting a square of ... cotton pad and then snipping away at the center of it to make a hole so
it slips over the center post
i was expecting a loss in flavour as the cotton on this build i did completly covers the area between the coils and between
the negative post's, as far as i know or can see their is no air coming from under the coils to reach the DT.

Awesome, thanks for the tip. I'm loving this RDA. I find that it puts out great flavor and clouds. Favorite build is a 6 wrap of 22 AWG kanthal, dual coil single wire, on a 1/8 drill bit.

Mind sharing your build, and were did you get the hex screws? Also, your build deck looks different then mine. Its probably just the angle of the picture which makes it look like the negative posts are connected to the lip of the deck.

Your welcome. :)

... my samurai is a clone from fasttech, the neg posts are part of the deck and i didnt even realise till you said, i went and checked and the ones they have are the same as yours so im unsure what has happened lol i been ripped off again ...

The hex screw's came with it, if yours is the same size then these are m2x6 or do what i do and get a few dif sizes from ebay, you wouldnt want any longer than 6mm, maybe 4mm in m2,m2.5 & m3, something like that.

My build funny enough isnt a build i normally roll with, i'm normally doing the same sort of thing as you have but useally non contact to keep the ohms lower, its 26g 10wrap, 2mm id, i have it on the sigelei at about 70-80watts.

what power are you running? 0.2Ω ??

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

Im running .24 ohms, according to my USA ohm meter. I usually run it on my mech since it matches so well. On my vw box mods, i run it at 55 to 65 watts.

Ive tried a 6 wrap parallel 24 AWG dual coil kanthal build on a 1/8 drill bit and it really chucks the vapor, with excellent flavor. I havent seen too many reviews or info on this RDA, so hopefully this thread will bring some attention to it. The only thing about this RDA is that you pretty much have to do a centerpost build in order to use the bottom air flow intakes and side intakes simultaneously. I havent tried an offset build to close off the bottom air intakes, but its something im wanting to try.
