i had a sapphire i placed on a battery, hit well but gave me a little burnt taste, like a dry taste but vapor was coming through, i checked the air hole and it was not near any of them so it wasnt near any of the slits on the connector in this particular battery, so i looked at where the hole lined up when i screwed it on and then took a dremel and cut a notch as to expose the hole, and book, back to buiness, issue solved.
