So after a long time I finally gave up and decided to get a Provari. Now the only question I have is does the black chrome get a lot of finger prints on it? I am super .... when it comes to cell phones, ipads, Pv's and so forth and if the black chrome leaves finger prints I rather go with the Satin finish.

Well happy thanksgiving weekend everyone hope someone can help me here.

I know the regular Chrome does and I would assume the Black one does too(I don't have one though), it will just be much much harder to see I would imagine.

I have the Satin Finish and I know it doesn't leave finger prints, and I've dropped it tons of times on concrete etc. and still struggle to see even the faintest of scratches.

Black Chrome looks so badass though...wait till Monday and get the Blue LED option :)

Hopefully someone who has the Black Chrome can chime in to confirm..

I'm sure I put fingerprints on the black chrome Provari, but I don't notice them at all because there's a lot of detail on the actual device. I really have to search for the prints and I've never wiped it down with a microfiber since I bought it. The black chrome, imo, looks the most classy than all the finishes. If the black chrome was you first pick, get it.

thanks for the input people I guess I go with the satin. The black chrome looks really nice but with the fingerprints and the black being more expensive I prob stick to the satin.

Btw I thought there was also once a white Provari out there or is it just me being a very confused person?

And for the sale well I am in Atlanta and have to work on Monday can't get up and freaking 3am for the sale lol.

Regarding the sale, it will be all day Monday, so no need to wake early. The blue LED/Display option will probably go quick since it's limited, but the normal will be there at 10% off.

Get yourself a satin one. I have a satin one while my friend has a black chrome. Now don't get me wrong, the black chrome looks really good BUT the finish is wearing a little bit around the edges. I'm sure it's due to laying it down on a certain hard surface but you shouldn't have to worry about laying down your Provari on certain surfaces. The black chrome does accumulate fingerprints but not as much as the solid chrome does. The satin finish picks up zero prints and you can lay her down on anything without worrying about scratching the finish too bad. i bought mine used and this thing is one of the original Provaris with the original screen still in place and it still looks brand spankin' new. Not a single blemish. I actually dropped on my back porch last night and still nothing. Im sure you will love whichever you choose. Good luck!

I have both black chrome and satin silver. I've only had the black chrome since july, it doesn't show finger prints much, you can see finger prints when light is reflecting off it. Mine has a little wear on the bottom of the extended cap from where I stand it up on my desk. I never carry the black one around it stays on my desk at home.

The satin silver one that I've had since febuary doesn't show any fingerprints and gets some pretty harsh treatment. I now have a few scratches on it, hardly noticable unless looking for them. I have dropped it several times on cement, 1/4" thick steal, blacktop, even on ceramic tile, and can only see a couple very small dents on the bottom edge of the extended cap.

Thus being said, if you want one that's not going to show much wear and tear or finger prints, get the satin finish.
