I need help on deciding which color V2 to purchase.

Satin Silver, Blue LED, EXT Cap

or

Satin Black, Blue LED, EXT Cap

The Satin Silver is the classic Provari, classy, and looks good with the extention cap. The black is a beautiful looking mod, but I almost think that it looses something with the extention cap as it looses the nice chrome bottom that finishes the look off.

I only wanted to buy two 18650 batts and an ext cap to keep the price down.

So what do you all think? Satin Silver, Blue LED, EXT Cap; or Satin Black, Blue LED, Ext Cap?

Get the Satin Black and the Chrome extension cap, while they still have some.

I ordered and already received the Chrome ext cap last week, knowing I was going to order either a blue or white Provari today. The Chrome Provari's have been recently discontinued, so who know's how long the chrome end caps will be available as an accessory?

I have the satin black with sb extension and love it. After about 3 months of constant daily carry/ use it still looks like new, the finish is bullet proof. If you are OCD some units have a very slight difference in the shade/ glossiness of the the black between the body and extension. Not so much that it is noticeable unless you obsess over such things, but it is there on some of them, ie mine. That being said you cant go wrong either way but black is much easier to stealth vape at the movies.

Man, now you're making me want to go back and order a chrome extension cap too... Will have to see a pic of a blue unit with chrome extension cap if someone who has both of those is kind enough to post one...

ETA: Hmm, don't see any more chrome extension caps. Oh well, i'm sure I'll be way happy with the all-blue look. :)

I wonder if they are now out of stock? I kinda foresaw that coming. I saw the thread about chrome provari's being out of production, and figured the ext caps wouldn't last much longer either. Knew I was ordering a new color yesterday, so I ordered the chrome cap last week, just to be on the safe side, when I noticed the ext caps are a solid color.

I'll photoshop a blue with chrome ext cap tonight if no one else does before then.

Given how smooth it makes it feel, I agree its worth it. Would you buy a Ferrari and then ask the dealer 'This thing doesn't *have* to have regular oil changes does it?'. $7 doesn't seem like much to maintain a worthy PV in my opinion.

Also, thanks for offering to shop the pic, one way or another well get to see what that would look like. Tracking says my order arrives tomorrow!

Well, here it is. Used one of Tybin's posted pics and did a quick photoshop of a chrome extension cap. Glad I ordered mine last week, as it appears they are no longer being offered for sale. Yeah for me! Love the look.

On the topic of the noalox, you can get the same stuff from Lowes and other places for half the price or cheaper.

That's where I got mine. "a little dab will do ya" I use it on my silver bullet's threading about once a month, it keeps the threadings silky smooth. Well worth getting a small tube (it will probably last you your entire life).
