Got my eye on the satin white provari. Can anyone tell me if the finish is easy to clean and doesn't stain easy?I work around grease and grime and want to keep it looking nice.If not I will go with the black. Thanks in advance

I've got a Pink Provari and it doesn't show any sign of staining after a couple of weeks
of pretty constant use . . . but I don't work with grease or grime and have quite dry
hands. I'm thinking that if it does get a little mucky, a wipe over the ceramic tube with
an alcohol wipe will clean it up.
The black satin could be a safer bet maybe, it is very smart . . . .

If you really like the white, get it. Then get a leather sleeve from Serenity Gear.

Yea I think black would be best for my situation too. I just saw they have a coupon for labor day, so I will just wait till then to make a final decision and save a few bucks. The Serenity sleeves look nice, but I really dig that DIY sleeve. Thanks for the advice.

All you need to clean the ProVari is some ammonia free glass cleaner. Apply it to a cloth and wipe the 'Vari down. Cleans it up nice. It's what we use in the warehouse
The white, black, blue, purple and pink ProVari is covered in a ceramic coating. It has a smooth texture but is not slick.

I've gotten a few small nicks in mine now... Any chance there's some kind of touch up kit for this stuff?
We don't have a touchup option at this time. I don't even know if Cerakote can be touched up. I'll look into this.
Sadly, we can't hold on to the Cerakoted tubes for the 6 weeks needed for the finish to fully cure. This means that during the first 6 weeks of ownership, the finish is vulnerable to blemishes. However, once the finish cures, it's super durable.
EDIT: I have learned that we use a low temp heat curing on our tubes. This means the ceramic coating is fully cured the moment it comes out of the oven/kiln.
It is the high temp curing that requires a longer cure time.

That's good to know! I think I was a little beyond the 6 weeks, and the scratches are tiny and I can live with 'em. I was just curious if there were any options... I wonder if those color match automotive touch up kits would work?
It would be great if Provape had some Touch up paint in smaller amounts like CERAKOTE AIR-DRY CERAMIC COATINGS - Brownells
Perhaps the Cerakote Air dry would work...
However, our Cerakote guy actually tweaked the recipe to make the coating a more matte finish than the stock mixture.

Yeah Cerakote takes a while to truly "set" but once it does it really is a sturdy finish, I've seen some really nice Cerakote finishes on guns and have considered using it on some of mine.

That is surely true but that wouldn't be any issue to have some small bottles of touch up paint in the house for sale. My car dealer doesn't paint the cars in the house but he sells touch up paint for the cars anyway
I'm looking to get a white mini soon. But what I'm worried is the paint turning yellow or even peeling off.
I have sweaty palms and would hate for it to get stained. Especially from the fact that it costs $300 in total to get it delivered to my country.
