What's a duel-coil carto??? Vaporgal, technology is passing you by!!! This is the latest new toy for vaping!

Its a 510 on 801 threads. But, this beast has two coils inside each rated at 1.5ohm. They will not burn and vapor/flavor/th is great. Made by SmokTech and holds around 1.2 mil of juice. Resistance: 1.5ohm-1.7ohm (each coil is individually rated at 3.2ohm). On my Buzz at 4.5v these things create those massive clouds of vapor you've always dreamed of. Get a couple and give 'em a try.

Interesting... So, what's the purpose of a 510 carto on 801 threads? So, I assume I need a 510 to 801 adapter, right? Also, have you tried Isaac's Fusions? I've read good things about them.

Good luck in your tournament tomorrow!

You attract losers? My sister is the same way. The last guy she dated was a very nice person, but she blew it. :(

Also, have you tried Isaac's Fusions? I've read good things about them.

The 801 Fusion cartomizer is excellent and they are rated at 2.5Ω. Vast clouds of vapor, great on flavor and th is okay. These are one of my every day cartos and these are the ones that require the 801 to 510 or 901 adapter. (I told you wrong earlier - long day and I'm a little tired). Its difficult to make a Fusion "burn." These are very good!

The following is from 5cardstud on the Fusion:

3.2 volts--1.13 amps
Great vapor production, good taste and throat hit is also good.

3.7 volts--1.33 amps
The vapor production is amazing, It is great at this level as with the last 2 levels. Throat hit is great also as is the taste.

4.0 volts--1.45 amps
The vapor remains great, the throat hit is nice and mellow and the taste is wonderful.

4.2 volts--1.45 amps
The vapor still amazes me and the throat hit is warm. The taste is also great.

4.5 volts--1.62 amps
The vapor is still great, throat hit is really warm now but still vapable and the taste is still good although I'm pushing it.

The Fusion is also Don Da Boom's favorite carto and he has nice words for the duel-coil as well.

The Duel-Coil has 510 threads and are 1.5 ohm cartomizers. These work well with HV vaping. Although the effective resistance is 1.5-1.6 ohms, each coil is individually rated at 3.2ohm working in parallel. These are are most suitable on a 3.7v or higher PV to see their full potential.

I really like these on my Buzz at 4.5v but have had them up to 6.5v. The immense clouds of vapor are something you've only dreamed of. Right now I have some CreamSoda from FSUSA that I bought last year and really didn't care much for. In the duel-coil its a new experience and a new flavor and I just can't put it down.

The duel-coils are also difficult, if not impossible to burn.

My other cartos are the IKV Mega-808 and the FSUSA 510. Both of these are very good cartos. The FSUSA 510 is still what I measure all other cartos against. These deliver some of the best flavor, a satisfactory cloud of vapor and good th.

The duel-coil cartos are not recommended for use on the eGo. The people who make the eGo do not recommend using anything below 2 ohms on the eGo batts. Also, the eGo does not deliver 3.7v like most other units, they put out 3.1v (+ -).

I started vaping one year ago and have tried nearly every carto and some drip atty's and have settled on these four being the cartos I prefer to use. For me, dripping is too much of a hassle and the Fusion and Duel-Coil deliver nearly equal vapor, flavor and th.

TT - Thanks for the info. 5Card's review is very thorough!

Since I started vaping last February, I think I've tried almost every carto as well. When I first started vaping, I preferred 808s, but now I prefer 510s. I also like 306 attys (I've not tried any others).

So, how do you like the Fusions compared to the 510 drip style?

Dang TT, that's a whole lotta talkin up there! Did ya say anything important... I think I may have fell asleep in the middle...LOL Send me the Cliff notes on that one... J/k bud!
I will bow to TT's greater experience on this matter. :)

Hey LastChance!!!

Old man, you taught me everything I know. So if I say anything wrong its got to be your fault.

LOL, don't bow to my greater experience on anything either. For one thing I'm so much younger than you and you know better than I that all this is just a matter of personal preference ... and even THAT might just be personal preference at the moment and is subject to change.

Besides, tomorrow there will be something prettier, bigger, longer lasting, four-coils, and with anti-theft features that, with three quick puffs, will unlock the door on my pick-up truck. And I won't need one but I'll have to have one.

And you probably noticed that I'm an ECF, PV Master now. When you attain that status they send you a ball cap with dehydrated brains in a little plastic bag. All you do is add water, slap the thing on your head, and quicker than you can say "Senior Citizens Center" ... bang ... your smart!!!

Only problem is that we haven't had enough rain here in East Texas and I can't find the water to add to the dehydrated brains. Sad state of affairs.
