Wide band is purely cosmetic - cignot's basic starter kit is cheap I got mine there, and I still buy stuff off them (spare atties, juices etc). The ego has a longer lasting battery, it is bigger yes but the smaller batteries need charging more often, so it depends how much you use it. The ego uses 510 atties (just normal ones) but needs a different charger to a regular 510. If you buy a kit (ego kit or 510 reg kit) you get a charger included.
Mayn suppliers sell 510 basic kits and also ego kits - prices vary across the board. I recommend cignot cos its where I get mine from and it shipped fast and Im very happy with them and the PV

Ok... I did it! I waffled at the end there and changed my mind. I went with a KR808D-1. I went that route because of the better battery life. I didn't buy a kit either, I just pieced together what I wanted for now. Actually from two different sources. I believe I saved a few bucks since I did find a coupon to offset the extra shipping from two places. In the future I might go with the Chinese company. They seem to be very cheep but the shipping is high, but I think you can still come out with a savings. Thats if you want to wait possibly 15 to 20 days as well.
Wish I knew a local place in the Detroit Metro area that had all this stuff.
Hopefully I might get my PV set up by this weekend and I'll be vapin' away.

My next project of vape study is this political thing. How the help can they ban this? That seems to be going way to far with legislative whimsy. Wouldn't you think there are more pressing matters to attend to? And what happened to the "Don't tread on me" attitude we should all have. Well, I won't go on. ... ...

I have a question. When you are not using it. do you need to take it apart, and cap the cartridge?if you didn't, would the liquid pool in the atomizer?Thank you for answering my last post. I ordered some vg,still trying to get this right,thanks
You can take it apart - I leave mine attached, the juice doesnt run out really - the filled carts can 'leech' if you dont store them upright though. Many people DO take them apart however, and stand the atty on a paper towel, cart side down - really what works best for you is 'the best way'.
The 'pop rocks' crackle is a good noise btw - a gurgling noise like when blowing through a straw into liquid is a BAD noise (just means the atty is flooded, take off battery an mouthpiece and blow it out once its cooled down - easy fix)
I don't know of any in the Metro, but www.rockymountainvapor.com is somewhere in the outlying area, I think. they don't carry kr8 gear, but they recommend Analog Alternative, The Smoking Alternative which is also somewhere in the Detroit general area, for kr8 users. they seem to have great prices and are quite well reviewed on the suppliers forum.
I use a 510, so I've only done business with RMV, but I've been quite happy with them.
