i bought the standard 3.6v batt from altsmoke when i bought my silver bullet, it hasnt come yet, but i have been reading that a lot of people use a 6 volt battery instead, claiming it vapes better faster. did i waste my money on the 3.6 volt battery, and if i want to test a 6 volt, can i use disposable duracell 123 batteries from my flashlight? what do you think?

6V is better I think but can be pretty strong for some people. 3.7V is great all around on the SB and gives good "kick" when you vape slowly and longer.

The SB is just a really good device no matter what batts you use.

I haven't really tried 6v yet but i'm enjoying the heck out of the SB at 3.7.

I love vaping at 6 volts! One thing I found, is that with the majority of flavors (mine at least). Really pop at 6 volts, even in a 510. So if you have any flavors that you didn't like, revisit them at 6 volts, you may be really surprised.

Flavors that were literally disgusting to me (I could NOT vape them), were so good at 6 volts.

this is one post that actually answered the OPs question

Yes to test out 6v you can try your duracells 123 dispossables (at least I think they will fit) but of course if you like it ... it would be cheaper to use the rechargeable s that were mentioned

The 801 atty is the king for 5 or 6 volt vaping. It has the largest coil that withstands the higher heat levels longer. I consistently get multiple months out of my attys. The higher voltage actually seems to work better on these attys because the higher heat keeps the gunk from forming on the coil as fast. Truthfully, 801 attys perform best on 5 or 6 volts.
