SB sealed?

When I look down the battery connector I can see the solder & copper wire - can I seal this with some silicon. I drip 90% of the time and am a bit worried liquid could get inside. Also the connector has been pressed in at an angle & there is a gap, can I seal this too?
Looks funny - my atty is like the leaning tower of Pisa.

Works great though.

It is uncommon, there may have been a couple that got out with a slight angle to the adapter. The reason for this is my arbor press face was not true....... fixed it right quickly. That being said it has no ill effect on the SB. Also very easily fixed. Keep in mind I build each one of these in my home after work. Tis my flaws that make me human

I'm all kinds of up my wife's .... to let me get one of these. In my opinion it looks like modern art should look like, as opposed to how most of it *does* look. Like the ultimate in plain simple form+function. No gizmos, not gimmics, just a confusingly shiny battery holder machined and polished to near seamlessness...it belongs on "2001: A Space Odyssey" next to the Monolith.

Then i hear about the leaning atty of piza and I was like...WHAT?!?

You have *seen* the device...since you make them...right? How the heck else does one describe it? ive been looking at battery mods of various types for quite some time.

The button really catches the eye as well..it doesn't look like an afterthought, it looks like the device was built around it, instead of the other way around. Damn few buttons can compete with it...and thats just the freakin button...

Yeah, i'm ownin one of these the minute my wife misplaces her debit card and i have the good fortune to find it first.... Actually I think thats going to be on my list of demands...er I mean "suggestions" for Christmas, unless I can slip it past her before then.

Yah I have seen a few hundred :p
It is built around the switch, one of the nicest looking switches I have laid eyes upon, reminds me of my time in the NAVY.

My father was in the Navy during WWII, on the Carrier USS Randolph. I showed him a pic of it off the forums here, with it unscrewed so you could see the battery hole/threads/thickness...he said it looked like it was put together like a "brick outhouse" although he didnt use the term "outhouse"....and he didn't even know wtf it was for haha.

Wow, sorry - didn't mean to freak anyone out.

It did look funny - funny haha - if Chad had told me it was done on purpose to angle the mouthpiece for easier vaping, I would have 100% believed him. Instead within minutes he phoned & explained how easy it was to fix, or said I could return for repair. I have no tools so went to ACE hardware & they charged me $3 to straighten it up.

The SB is great & support is 5 star+
Don't let one stupid comment put you off buying.

This thing doesn't cause me any head aces what so ever everything about it is dead on, The SB is in a class of its own I cant see were any improvements need to be made " Accept adding a juice dispenser :p" I just shined it up last night .... Wow it is a beautiful work of art! :)
