Thinking about buying the scar 18 mod.. do any of your folks out there have one and if you do tell me what you think about it, thanks

I have one, and like it more than the Aegis Legend and Aegis X even though, on paper, it is just as durable. The screen is a little harder to read, but for me, that's more than compensated for by the sleekness of the device (when compared to the Aegis lineup). I can easily slip the Scar 18 into my pocket and the Aegis always gets stuck due to its thick rubber outer layer.

Having said that, this is still a smok product, and many people hate smok, claiming that they are not reliable.

I, on the other hand, have Smok devices 5 and 6 years old that still work fine... take care of your device, and it'll likely last.
