Hello, today I got a GG Slim. The Slim had some bad scratches. I sanded the scratches easily and then tried to polish. Since when were the scratches, the slim now a different color. What am I doing wrong.

i don't think so. you might want to strip the rest of the plating off and either enjoy it in bare aluminum, get a plating kit somewhere and diy, have someone professionally plate it to your liking, or have another surface finish done to it altogether.
You could send it to Chopper guys and he would make that look better then new for ya Stiff74
