Sealed or Open Post Atomizers

I have been lurking on this forum for several weeks now and have found this community to be very informational and inspiring. Thank you to all the members who keep it friendly and realize that those of us who are new to vaping can learn so much from your experience. I have been able to find the answers to most of my questions by searching the forums. However, I have a question that I have not been able to find an answer for.

I want to purchase an atomizer to try out new juices before committing them to a cartomizer or tank.
I have done some research on them and decided to purchase the LR306 Low Resistance Bridelesss 2.0ohm Sealed Post Atomizer (Cisco Spec) from Avid Vaper.
I noticed that this atomizer is available with a sealed post or open post.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of both.

Thank You,
CatarinaEstelle

if u havent tried a sealed post before start with open post. and after u experiment with the attys then try a sealed post. i use open. i find them alot eayser to blow out and clean to change juices.

ALSO i would HIGHLY reccommend that you add on to your order the cisco spec LR 1.8 bridged 306. i DO not like the bridgeless unless its the HH357. for some reason when i tried the 306 1.8 ciscos i fell in love. there awasome and the bridgeless verison of it just gruggles alot for me and the pull is wayyy to stiff.

get the bundle they have on the sight. 2 LR 306 attys 1.5 1.8 or 2.0 ur choice and a 306 drip tip. best 306 drippers starter kit on the web IMO. u cant go wrong

sorry for the horrible spelling..

If you are serious about dripping look into the DCA setup from Goodsensevapor.com you need to be on the notify list since the sell fast. This is the best set up for a 306 atty that I've found. I also use a joyetech atty from time to time with a sealed connector on it. If you want to learn more about atty care go to avidvaper.com

Thanks everyone for the great information.
How do you clean a sealed post to switch juices?

You can still blow it out cuz it has holes in the side (in the threads) - blow out in the same direction as the air flow normally travels (put ur mouth on the thread end). Between flavors I blow it out and put 1-2 drops of flavorless or menthol ice. Works very well.
