I tried a search for box mod, titles only. Not possible, both words to short and/or common. Tried in quotations, No matches????? really????? I know
the google option, but was not finding my search only in titles, in other words
way to many results.

Come on, this is painfully simple to fix, isnt it? I got it, maybe make 1 letter the minimum! that way people can actually find what they are looking for.

Thanks in advance

They had it working for three letter words for about 5 days in the Spring, then no more. It is a pain but you can search google using the 'site:ecigarette.com: "...."' format.

For a site where membership is Free and the only money they ask for is in the form of Donations, I think the ECF does a pretty Good Job.

If the search engine isn’t to your liking, instead of slamming this site, perhaps you could find your answers elsewhere.

Don't mean to slam the site, just want a search function that benefits EVERYONE,
not me in particular... Obviously if it isnt finding thing I am looking for, ergo, it is
not finding things others are looking for. My thread is for the benefit of ALL users on
this forum, including you. So, instead of slamming me, support me.

don't be selfish, zoi.

Considering the server load issues we are having at the moment, I don't think lowering the search word size limit will be happening at least until after we add the second server and get it configured, along with the other changes we are making.

In other words, it's on the list of things to do, but isn't one of the highest priorities at the moment.

Thank you for that, That was all I really wanted to know. I understand a server can be expensive, and I appreciate the response. I will make things work as they are then. Looking forward, though, to an improved search
function. :)

You could make a donation and become a supporting member. That would certainly help you and everybody else. :)

There is a tag search option available. What I have noticed is that members are not tagging their threads. I think members do not understand how and what the tags are and how they are used. As I read a thread that I think has important, need to know information or is a thread that gets started numerous times-I tag it with the relevant words to work in a tag search. I invite any and all to tag as you read a thread and find information that helped you with your specific question.

How do you tag a thread?

Just above the quick reply box you will see tags on the left and edit tags on the right. Click edit tags and you can tag the thread with specific words...EX: Boxmod, Carrying Cases, Stash. Hope this helps.
