I know HHV has a purity line of 100% VG as well as Virgin Vapor. Are there any others? I quit vaping for almost 2 years because I felt sick all the time and couldn't figure it out. I quit vaping and felt fine within days. I was recently given a Blu kit and I can use it with no problem! That is when I figured out the flavors I am vaping are PG free, so now I am on a search for PG free liquid. Please help.

Sunshine, we have the same issue and scenario!!

I tried vaping several years ago and quit because I was super nauseous. I had bought a pen style kit with 2 tank/battery combos. I thought the ill feeling was just from cigarette withdrawals. Then when the first battery died, I used the second tank with the other battery, while the first one was charging and holy smokes, I was so ill for the following 3 days, even looking at an ecig since then turned me off and reminded me of that pukey feeling. I thought the store owner who sold me the set didn't clean the factory oil out of the second tank like he did on the first. I still don't know if it was that or the juice.

Anyways, long story longer, I decided to try the ecig again and that sick, nauseous feeling was right back. After a tank of 100%vg I knew that was the problem and omg what a relief!! I felt like I had let my kids and my family down when I went back to smoking the first time, I was so happy to find the problem and be able to fix it.

So, to answer your question I've tried ECBlends and I found a juice there I really like (Pecan Brittle) but that's the only one so far. I found their fruit flavors a bit plastic tasting, the wild berry was very perfumey, the black cherry was similar to the cherry NiQuil, etc. I have probably 12-15 bottles from them steeping and I'm hoping they come around. That's just been my experience with the AN&O line they have.

I've tried Highbrow, they have 100%vg juices. I like several of the juices I got from them, the waffle is my favorite so far but I also like the coconut macaroon. Their juice has a clean, clear taste, it's thinner than some other vg juices I've tried in consistency but the flavors are authentic. I really like that they ask you to communicate with them your preferences and they customize the juice to what you like.

I've found, and this may help you also, that I can handle a small amount of PG. I've had juices with PG as a flavor carrier and no nausea. I've also mixed the 40/60 and 50/50 that I bought to begin quitting with (before I realized pg was a no go) with 100%vg at a 1/4 pg juice to 3/4 vg juice and I'm okay with that in small doses. If you find you can handle 10%pg 90%vg juice it will open up some other vendors to you. I have an order coming from Ahlusion at that rate and I think it'll be just fine. Another thing to keep in mind with high VG is that your juices may need a longer steep time and you might want to have extra coils around if you're using tanks. I know I'm blowing through coils like crazy.

Even though I've tried quite a few 100%vg juices, I'm still on the hunt for some bakery and fruit flavors that I love. Please let me know if you come across a vendor that you love and I'll do the same. Currently, I'm waiting on my first order from Ahlusion and I'm looking at trying an order from Velvet Cloud. The reviews are mixed on Virgin and Alien so I'm going to hold off on those two for now.

I hope you find some juice you love and congrats on quitting again! I know how frustrating it can be when you're trying!

Who is HHV? I too would like to know of some good 100% VG e-juice companies. Some places i look at either dont list or dont let you choose the vg/pg% and then others have some catchy name for the juice with no description of whats in it for flavor.

Isn't that frustrating! I've found the company's that don't give an option for vg/pg usually have a set 40/60 or 50/50 or something like that and don't deviate. I was doing a search for juice reviews using the title of those juices that are named something unrelated to the juice flavor, but screw that, it's too time consuming and there are too many vendors out there who do it right and put needed information on their site. :p

I tried to place an order with Orb Vapor. My debit card kept giving me an error message, so I sent them an email and got a quick reply, like within hours. After 4/5 days of not hearing anything I sent another email asking if everything was still good to go and an idea of when the order would ship. Being new to vaping and not having a juice stash built up plus considering steep times for all vg juice I was trying to plan ahead. A day passed and no answer, sent another email asking if the first was received, no answer again. I ended up cancelling the order and got an immediate response. If you search Orb Vapor on this forum you'll find similar feedback about communication and long ship times but sadly (for me) how awesome their juice is. I was really looking forward to it but as an ex-small business owner I don't do poor customer service :/ Just my experience, yours may be different. If it is please let me know and maybe I'll try again.

Thank you for your response, Cam! I had so many liquids that had to be tossed from my first go at vaping, it was just heartbreaking. I will tell you that I REALLY enjoyed Boba's bounty from Alien. For me it was NOT a tobacco, more of a dessert. I also like their Gorilla juice (If you like banana) I am so hoping, I am like you and can tolerate small amounts of PG. I am going to experiment with tiny baby steps. I am going to stick with straight VG for a bit and then order something that has PG as a flavor carrier and see how that goes. I am so sorry you have to deal with this terrible sensitivity but I am glad I am not alone. :)

You're so welcome Sunshine! I know it made me feel better too to know that I'm not alone in the PG intolerance. In another thread someone responded to my comments about trying 90/10 with,
"some of the first vendors I tried made me think I couldn't tolerate.PG, but ahlusion and five pawns have a "better".PG which I enjoy and can tolerate."

I'm not quite ready to take the jump to a mid PG% in my juice but it's something to consider. I can see how different grades of PG might have different effects for people who are sensitive.

I love banana and I keep getting Alien recommendations so maybe I'll try them out too. That would make 3 vendors on my list: Velvet Cloud, Vapor Chef and Alien. Thanks for the suggestion and I hope you find yummy juices that work out well for you! ~Cam
