Searching for Mod recomendations welcomed

Hi,
Hopefully someone has been in my shoes and would be able to provide some useful advice. I am fairly new to E-cigs and have been searching for a mod that is compatible with the 18650 battery and the KangerTech mini protank II.

Ideally I would like to use my existing usb ego battery charger on the mod to recharge the 18650 battery. I am also hoping that the Mod would have a tappered look when my mini protank is attached. I have looked at at the Joytech Ego-T 18650 mod option but read some mixed reviews. Is there any other other options out there?

Hi, I think any mod that will accept an 18650 battery will be a bit larger than your mini protank. That said most will suit a normal sz protank so think on those terms and you can imagine the diameter of most 18650 mods. I just bought a used SID mod made by Smok Tech it uses an 18650 battery, has a beauty collar that fits smaller tanks and clearomizers and a digital screen. The SID is a vv/vw mod with nice tapered apperance and comes in several colors. I think it would be something you might be interested in. Google Smok Tech SID there are several reviews on you tube. I know this isn't what you Are looking for but have you considered an mvp2? you wont need a charger for it and it has great battery life.

I bought a Joyetech eGo-T 18650 tube mod.

What a waste of time.

If it's the same thing, it is either set to 3.3v or unregulated. One setting is weak, the other will burn out your mini Protanks on a fresh battery.

Charging an 18650 battery using an ego USB charger - Ain't gonna happen. You'll need to have a charger or a mod that has a built in charger. Check out the MVP2. It doesn't fit you style criterion and does not use 18650 batteries, but a good choice.
Finding a battery that fits the profile of a PT2 mini says you want another ego battery.
