Seasoning new addys

I've read a couple of posts where members state that you should season a new addy before use. What is seasoning and what is the way to do it?

I usually just blow through the cart end a few times to get most of the primer off of the coil and wick, then put a drop or two on the bridge and let it sit for a minute, add a few more drips or a cart and vape away.

Second what RedAlert stated... Might want to take a few "primer" puffs before inhaling to burn off the remainder of the primer. You can vape right through the primer, but will add a bad taste at first.

Think the seasoning refers more to the fact that an atty tends to vape better after it's been broken in by using it for a few days.

what is the "bridge""?

what is the "bridge""?

when you look down into the atty you see an arch covered in what "looks" like very fine steel mesh or wool. That is the bridge.

I've been mostly dripping and I love Phee303's vid about taking the wick out, wonderful. I even took the wick and bridge out like one of his vid's. I wish they would sell them like that for drippers.
