Seattle Meet

I have received a few pm's regarding a meet in Seattle (or surrounding cities) from a few members. So, I'm creating this thread to get a feel of how many people were actually interested. Think it would be a great way for the local community to share their love for vaping, show off their gear, share knowledge, and just have some fun.

Also, you are free to discuss any ideas that you have for the meet. As well as where and when this event should occur. This gives people an opportunity to decide what will work best for them.

This is a good start. Thanks you two for the quick responses. If we can get more people that are interested. Then we can decide on an exact date and if we could get vendors such as Provape, ecigexpress, etc. to participate.

Since I'm a few hours away, I don't know if I'd come up for a really small meet, but a larger one with vendors would be great. And it would be nice to meet other vapors, besides the ones I've converted lol

I'm in Tacoma, and would be very interested in a meet. I'll bring my wife as well, so that's one more! May not hurt to check in with the folks at the Vaporium in Lakewood. They are really nice folks, and may be open to joining us. As long as it's on a weekend, weekdays are no good for me. Work has me chasing my tail right now.

Washvap, have you ever attended the meets put on by Kim at The Vaporium in Tacoma? I hope to attend my first later this month when the date is finalized. They have a pretty large group of people that would likely be interested in attending a meet/show featuring vendors. I would love to see a larger event happen in Western WA. I would bet that others from the PNW would too.

I would also like to see a meet happen on the north end, preferably Lynnwood or elsewhere in South Snohomish Co.

What started out as a small get together turned into one of the biggest meets a lot of people have seen. We wound up with over 120 people (almost didn't have enough room for all) had about half a dozen local vendors show up, and even had
vapeteam show up with a camera crew and did a live show, as well as some clips on their weekly show. It was a huge success, we have started a GA Vapers club, have monthly small get togethers, and we are planning on doing at least one big meet a year.

Again, good luck and I hope yours comes out as well as ours did, but a word of warning, it's going to be a lot of work to get it off the ground . We got a committee together and that really helped with the planning, the more people working together the better, as it got to be way too much for me after it got over 20 people (my original idea was around a dozen, tops LOL). Had to rent a space it got so big. But it was all well worth the time and effort everyone put into it.

If you don't mind, I'll pop in from time to time to see how your doing.

Yeah, I don't know if I would come for a small meet either. But, if there are enough people then it will be well worth it.

Unfortunately I haven't since Tacoma is a bit too far for me personally. Haven't attended an event neither and feel the same way. Would be great to have a major event happen on this side of the mountains. Personally, I have no problem with an event if it were to occur anywhere near Seattle.

Hey Balthezar! Hope that ours will be a success as well. It's great to see the response you got from your thread. Congrats on you and others success for making such a meet possible. Yeah but that makes the lonely eastern washington people have to drive more than 3 hours! I'm already 3 hours from any large city, please take pity, don't make the drive longer lol.


I was hoping for something in the tukwilla/seatac area... mostly because I know the area fairly well and would have a place to stay LOL
