I agree with you tyb. I think a neutral place would be good. I have been racking my brain thinking of spots to meet, I will try harder. Most of the sports bars I frequent are in Seattle, but I like the idea of a banquet room somewhere.

We had about half a dozen vendors show up, and some of the ones who couldn't make it donated prizes. We were going to have a raffle for them, but in the end decided to do more of a door prize thing, when you showed up, you got a name tag with a number on it, and we drew for the prizes. There were I think over 30 prizes given away that night, including a silver bullet and a couple of other really nice mods, and a couple of DIY kits, lots of big juice packages, all donated by local and not so local vendors who couldn't make it. The vendors were really behind us all the way, the ones who could make it paid a small fee to set up a table, which is how we paid for the space. It worked out well for us, no out of pocket to anyone, and for the vendors, I'm sure they made money that evening, and made some new customers.

But we also had a lot of vendors send us samples of juices, and we actually set up a juice bar, where we put all of the samples and let everyone test any they wanted. It was a huge success (if you want to see some pics go here):

That's who I was thinking about contacting. However, the amount of people I see on the poll vs list is very low. So, for them to show up or any vendor. The meet would have to be fairly large. Even then it would be a big "?".

If I do eventually see a larger number of participants. Then I will personally contact them to see what their response would be.
