quick intro...

I've smoked about 35 years now. A pack and a quarter ish a day.

I seen someone with an e-cig and said "what is that?". They said an electric cigarette. I was hooked right then before I knew anything else as I am a gadget freak big time.

They told me to get a Dse 901, I google it, Order it and here we are.

First day was a little rough as my 901 tasted like burned cig filters, But today is a lot better and I am loving it.

Well so far I can say this isn't the fun "gadget" I thought it was, It is a lifesaver. After doing a little research and using a little common sense any one could see that. Which brings me to my final issue.

My only worry now is I see the government ( I know it supposed to be capitalized but I refuse) wants to get involved. After all this time I think I may have finally found a way that I can quit smoking and the fda sticks their nose into it and it seems they will want to make the choice for me soon :(

Anyway, Good to meet you folks and good vaping.

Hi Alvitae
I'm quite new too so keen to find "the one" e-cig that's gonna do it for me so that I can buy in a horrendus amount of stock and be a happy e-cig smoker for a long long time to come.
Enjoying vaping more and more each day (apart from having to break in new attys) so there's hope for me finally being able to get off the analogs for good - after more than 20 yrs of trying everything else on the planet.
Glad you discovered vaping too and if you're happy with your model go get your supplies topped up and let the gvmt and fda do whatever it is they're going to do to try and ruin this for us.

I was a long time smoker too - 42 years.

I'm a gadget freak too and there are a lot of e-cig gadgets to try out.

They told me to get a Dse 901, I google it, Order it and here we are.

Most of mine tasted pretty nasty the first day too. Hang with it and it will get a lot better.

Well so far I can say this isn't the fun "gadget" I thought it was, It is a lifesaver. After doing a little research and using a little common sense any one could see that. Which brings me to my final issue.
They do take quite a bit of work and maintenance but they taste and smell so much better than analogs.

All we can do at this point is take the "wait and see" approach. If you can afford it, now is the time to stock up on atomizers, batteries and liquid whenever you decide which model is your favorite and your "go to" vape.

Anyway, Good to meet you folks and good vaping.
Very good to meet you too and hop in and enjoy this forum. There are lots of helpful and friendly people that love to help.

Welcome to the forum.
