All right, so I have finally gotten into RDA building. MY VERY FIRST ONE, WAS A MUTATION X VERSION FOUR, AND AT FIRST IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DIFFICULT, BUT I AM USED TO MAKING STANDARD COILS I'VE GOTTEN USED TO THE Ohm targets, THE WIRING, MAKING IT FORMED, EVEN GOT TO where MY WICKING IS BETTER THAN IT WAS WHEN I FIRST STARTED, I'VE EVEN GOTTEN TO where BECAUSE OF THIS I CAN BUILD ON THE SUB tank MINI Rba, even if it tastes like ....

I do however, find that on the mutation, it's very annoying to go between a single and a dual coil, because of the four posts I feel as if it has to be two coils I just do not like how the spacing is between the barrel and the posts.

I realize that the mutation can be single or dual but I would feel a lot better if I had an RDA specifically for single coils were there were only two posts not three and not four. Whenever I watch someone build something like a Clapton there RDA seems to have a lot of room in it, when I build a simple don't coral nothing special just one wire, it seems and feels as if I have no room for waking hardly, rip did a Clapton and several others where he had a lot of rain for waking, he put it everywhere with the cotton.

I work to build a single coil I feel like there's no room, I feel as though I would need just two posts somewhat like the Subtank RBA but an RDA not a tank.

Seeing as though my mutation X has helped me get to where I can build on the sub tank RBA, maybe it will get easier as I go, but for now I feel as though the mutation X is really tiny and does not have hardly any room to build on even though I'm able to do it, although at one point the RBA on the sub tank was so small I wanted to break something after trying to put a simple coil on it.

Either I just need experience or I feel as though I would never be able to have a special coil on the mutation, such as a Clapton.

The available space depends on a lot of factors, what size of screwdriver/drill are you building around? I run dual parallel in my mutation, no need for anything too fancy.

If you want something that's a unique design, have a look at the velocity, it's a fantastic RDA. I use mine every day and love it :)

I have a mutation x v4, and that's a tricky one for your first rda, if you want a 2 post design go with the Velocity, other options for "roomier" rda's that perform well, and the airflow can be adjusted for a single coil would be a Dark Horse, Doge, Little Boy, and any RDA that you can adjust the airflow so one side is closed off and the other open. I've had Clapton coils on my mutation x v4, I just make them with higher gauge wires, and wrap them on a smaller diameter bit. They'll fit, and they are awesome with the bottom airflow. Good luck in your search!
