juice is really a very personal decision. I would suggest getting a bunch of smaller sizes from your preferred vendor for tasting. Once you have done that you will have a better idea of what might appeal to you. As for vendors, I will let others more experienced than me direct you as I am not in the US.

Enjoy

For DIY juice I suggest myfreedomsmokes.com . Chris has some of the finest, cleanest e-liquid I've ever used and you can order it in a variety of vg/pg ratios. The vg makes the juice taste a bit sweeter than just plain pg and also provides for better vapor production. I use 25% vg for my DIY recipes. I get my flavors from perfumersapprentice.com since I can't stand that funky aftertaste of some of the lorann flavors. TPA also has menthol crystals, ethyl maltol, etc. and their prices are really reasonable.
For ready made e-liquids that help keep you off the analogs, I suggest using a high nicotine content e-liquid and a somewhat tobacco-ish taste. Berry tobacco or honey flue-cured from liquidxpress are the two that I like best insofar. Both have a distinct tobacco taste with a bit of a "zing".

I personally think that menthol is only used in cigarettes to cover the "north end of a southbound mule" taste that tobacco tends to get when you've been smoking a long time. Be sure to try some non-menthol flavors too, especially after you are more comfortable with vaping and you no longer need to trick yourself with menthol.

There are suppliers who offer sample packs; small bottles of several flavors which you can usually select. Supply yourself with juice you can stand vaping, then order a sample pack now and then to try different flavors.

Good luck on your second try! To your health :toast:

Thanks guys I'm definitely going to try some sampler packs. Anyone know if TastyVapor is any good? They're local so I'd like to support them if they are.

according to the latest ECF poll, they are one of the most popular juice vendors (and there are a *ton* of them)...Tasty Vapor is especially known for their signature flavors, including Atomic Cinnacide (if you like atomic fireball candies and/or Big red gum, you'll *love* it), and Tastyfinger (tastes just like Butterfinger). they just recently started offering sample sizes, and once you decide on a flavor you really like, their doublers make their juices one of the most affordable of US brands.

some of the more popular liquid vendors from my research have been

alien visions bobas bounty and gorilla juice (jus got restocked again if ur quick, they always sell out, backwoods brew (cult following), vaperite, kickbass vapor (kbv), vermillion rivers.

as mentioned, taste is subjective so get samplers everywhere if u can. good luck

You are very fortunate to have a juice supplier like Tasty Vapor close to you. They have a good reputation here with many satisfied customers. I would start with them before going anywhere else. Would love to be able to just stroll into a shop and browse through some high end juices!

Very much agreed, That would be awesome, you should definately try that. I would suggest halocigs.com, they are a little expensive but I still spend less than with cigs, and i cant get over the Torque 56. although I would like to try out a few samples from other vendors to see if I fall in love with something cheaper lol.
