So I've been lucky enough to find my ultimate vape with the commercial seedmans and TA mix. I just absolutely love this stuff. Thanks to Dan and all other contributors. I just recently ordered 4 other flavors from Seedmans. Virginia, Rum, Capt. Black and Honey. Just wondering if anyone has been experimenting with any of these flavors and what you may be able to recommend.

I just recently made a purchase from Seedmans, so far all ive made is a mix of commercial, virginia, rum mix at 10%
First DIY I have made that I acually really like. Cant wait to try some more of the recipies using these flavors.

On a side note, The customer service I recieved from Seedmans was fantastic.
When I made my order, I ordered 6 different concentrated flavors. apon receiving my shipment it turns out that I accidently ordered two Virginia Fire Cured instead of one Virginia and one Vanilla. and instead of receiving the mango flavor I ordered I recieved a cognac flavor.
I emailed Seedmans that night and the next day they sent me out my mango flavor and threw in a bottle of vanilla as an extra gift.

I use it plain, makes a great go to juice @ 5-10%, I find I have to let it steep for about a week to get rid of the soapy/perfume taste, but after that is gone, it is super fantastic, not too strong not too weak, just a real pleasant honey taste
thanks for sharing.was wondering if i was doing something wrong.kept playing mad scientist to tweak it and it was to flowery at first

I've read this before and it scares me though it doesn't seem like they would be selling anything dangerous. Could you just air the flavoring out or pre-steep mixing it 1:1 with PG or something? I have a sample of commercial coming from someone so I am wondering if it will have this off taste after that person has probably had it for a while. I'm also curious about seedman's "lights" flavor.

I've just picked up a 3ml bottle of the Virginia Fire Cured concentrate, but I've not yet purchased any Tobacco Absolute. I've mixed up a small 5ml batch with just the Virginia, 24mg nic, ended up using 14 drops for an 8% flavor concentration.

The flavor is more "like tobacco", but since all of my other flavors are either carmel, toffee, or fruits I don't have a good comparison.

What am I missing by skipping the Tobacco Absolute? Just curious as to the flavor differences.

Two last quick questions: any suggestions for purchase of TA other than PApprentice?

Are there other concentrates out in the wild that compare to Seedman concentrates? My supplier only stocks seedman stuff.

It's kind of hard for me sometimes to give a description of what I taste but I'll give it a shot... Just using Seedmans alone at the right proportions gives a very slight very mellow tobacco taste with a faint touch of flowery? aftertaste. Not bad actually.. But throw in the Tobacco Absolute and WOW !!!! Now you have what I can only describe as a somewhat sweet somewhat flowery throat hit with a double shot of smooth tobacco aftertaste with a feeling that you just took a drag off the best cigarette ever !! It does have a hint of what some call an (ashtray ) taste but for me, that just adds to the overall tone of this mixture. A good tone. The sweetness can be varied depending on the mixture. You can make really harsh if you desire but be careful because it doesn't take much to change the final taste of this juice. Really is hard to describe ..... This is what I vape 99% of the time.

Mixture I use......... 60 drops 36mg VG
10 drops 36mg PG
8-10 drops Seedmans commercial
1-1.5 drop Tobacco Absolute

YMMV with lower nic but not by much. I was a heavy cig smoker and don't even think about them with this concoction. I was using pure VG but started adding some PG to cut the sweetnes slightly. It's perfect for me now. But anyway hope this helps a little. I am lucky enough to have found my holy grail. I would like it if someone would create a REALLY good cigar juice but not really any good reviews yet

Thanks SO MUCH for your idea! I've got to pick up some of this TA. Does the stuff you use get cut initially with PGA or PG? I've seen places like Bluemist which have a 50/50 mix which is still really thick, and others that have it cut further.

What is the batch size with the drops you are using?

Let's see...

60 drops VG ~ 2mL?
10 drips PG ~ 1/2 or 1/4 mL?
the flavor itself looks to be less than 1/4mL total?

So we're looking at a 3mL batch? maybe 4 with these numbers? How much vapor are you getting with all of that VG! :)

I will add that my Virginia fire-cured test-mix I did REALLY benefited by steeping a good week. The soapy/perfumey flavor was strong initially, getting much better now (I'd call it almost "gamey" like you'd describe your uncle's venison, or how black walnuts taste different from your yard then they do from a bag at the store). Everybody has said aging is key with baccy and vanilla mixes and I have to agree.

Currently running just a small batch to see how it performs:

10% virginia fire-cured
30% VG
balance 18mg PG and plain PG.

I used scubabatdan's calculator to get my drops and the like, was a 5mL batch.
