Seeking feedback regarding ProVape's inventory approaching/during the holidays...

I've been hanging out in too many ProVari threads as of late...

So, I'm tossing around the idea of buying a ProVari as an Xmas present for myself. Since I had no clue what vaping was around this time last year, I don't know if there was some kind of inventory shortage @ ProVape when approaching the holidays. If I order one now, I'm just gonna use it as soon as receive it.

Considering how much enthusiasm exists for this device, am I kidding myself to think they'll be in stock for me to order early/mid-December?

I don't see why they wouldn't have stock. There seems to have been a popularity surge lately (could that be due to the ProVarinati, I wonder?), but they generally aren't OOS. They are out of the polished right now, but I have a feeling they only did a small run to see how it would sell. The site says the "Cherry Red" is a limited edition, but I find that hard to believe, unless they plan on replacing it was another shade of red.

What color/LED combo are you thinking of?

ETA: You can send it to me and I'll send it to you for Christmas.

Hrmmm...If I feel like saving some $$$, I'll just get the basic Satin Silver w/Red LED. If I wanna spend a tiny bit more, silver/blue. Even more, black/red. And yet more again, black/green. Heheh. What color/LED combo would you actually forward on to me?

And does anyone ever get white?!

The red LED is quite bright, just so you know. I like the satin silver/blue combo better, because the silver reflects light (even the satin ones) and seem to make the red brighter (to me). My polished/red is blinding. I could see black/red, Zombie/red or even bronze/red, although from pictures I think bronze looks better with green. Red is probably the best color for red; white (like black) goes with anything; purple and pink? I have no clue. In the end, just like everything in vaping, it comes down to what you like.

People do buy white, in fact I know of a couple of people watching the classys in hopes of getting one.

ETA: And if you sent it to me to hold until Christmas, I wouldn't even open the box. I have enough toys to play with. Believe it or not, but I am at this moment vaping with a Twist.

ETAA: One of the ways I saved money was to not buy an extension cap or any of those Tatroe thingys. I figured I would buy a ext cap later, but I'm going on a year now and still haven't found the need. I only recently got a Loki ring and that was just because I wanted to use a 22mm tank (instead of my usual 19mm) and it would look weird without one. I've been fine with 19mm tanks, no caps or rings.

I would say pick a color you like the only down side I have noticed with my black provari is keys do a number on the finish on the satin silver is not a big problem just something to be aware of

When she says the red is bright, it's an understatement! It's BRIGHT!! I couldn't believe how bright it was when I first saw one! I like the green best, but blue is my favorite color, so I got a satin with blue.
A buddy has/had a blue with blue, satin with red, and two blacks with green. His favorite, and mine as well, is a used black with green. It's worn just enough to have this kick .... patina to it, it's like black with a bronze tint to it. Hard to explain, but everyone that sees it wants to buy it from him!
The cherry red is cool, the zombie is cool, not my thing, they are all cool. I got the satin because I'm hard on things and didn't want to worry about chipping etc. of the finish. Mine gets dropped a lot, even thrown at a vape shop or two to show the durability!
Maybe contact Provape and see if you can pay now and get it delivered at Christmas? Not that I'd worry about that, I'd get it now and enjoy it!

Ok, getting blinded by LEDs is not my thing so it seems like red is out. Thanks to the three of you for the feedback; very insightful!

Another thing to keep in mind is you really won't be looking at the screen all that much. Because of the way I hold mine, I don't see the light from the firing button either.

ETA: I got vape mail. The green LED isn't as bright as the red, but it's brighter than the blue. Blue is my favorite for sure now.

My call is get what you truly want in the color/LED combo. You are going to have this/these a long time. Down the road the extra $$ mean zilch. I held out for the polished SS/blue mini and love it (it is not a fingerprint magnet). Just picked up a black/blue and like that color combo as well as the other. So I guess it is time for a bronze/green. It is where these Provaris take you, make you a more monster and that's a good thing.

I really like the way the green LED looks on the white and black... Sharp...

I just got a red, just in case it really is a limited run, cause I would beat myself if I didn't... LoL Got it with the red LED. Expect it next week, but I would bet the red LED is gonna be bright as heck.

I had what used to be a satin silver that I sanded and polished myself. That was sharp looking, but sold in the classies when I stopped vaping for a while. Now that I am vaping again, getting another ProVari was a no brainer!

With so many colors available now, I'd say get whatever you want! I doubt there will be a shortage in stock. I can't recall a time that they haven't had at least one of the colors available. I do know they ran out of green LED's for a while... But they seem to be back on track now.

Out of the current colors they are making, I like... Black, White, Red, and Polished the best. The Zombie is cool, but not for everyone,

I like the purple too, but I'm not willing to forfeit my man card for one... LoL

I wouldn't lose any sleep over the brightness of the screen or button. You can turn off the LED for the button via menu, and the only time the screen lights is when you are accessing the menu..

It was looking at a blue screen, and then immediately looking at a red screen I found so jarring. The red on a polished doesn't help either since it's bright to begin with.

Personally, I don't think it gets enough attention. I even forget it's available sometimes. It's got a very classy, yet understated appearance. It would go well with a tweed suit.
