I'm currently on 10 - 20 watts, on a subox starter kit, billow v2 spare tank.

Not really into big clouds, just nuts over flavors :D

My qns:
Do i need to upgrade the mods in order to improve on the flavors, or just improve on wicking & coiling while sticking to my subox mod?

Any advice greatly appreciated.
Upgrade ur mod. Subox not so rugged. Mine rosak very fast. Kanasai! But i still love Suboxla. Get a mod with batteries that u need to charge separately better. Soon more advice coming up.

You don't need to upgrade your mod, it all has to do with the build you are using in your tank. the mod just fires your tank. so if you don't have a good coil and wick right then the flavor won't be good. Get a good coil and wick right and you will be good.

Check the 510 on the Billow. That could be the problem. It might not be reading the tank right, sometimes you do have to adjust for different mods. I know I do. I have 2 Squapes R and 2 Aquas and I have to adjust the 510 for my SX Mini M and my Vapor shark. Just because they are spring loaded 510's doesn't mean they always work :)

Thank you for the input.. Subox is simple to operate, thats 1 of the main consideration for a new mod.. Simple, nothing fanciful.. Hehe

Thanks for the advice.. Will be sticking to the subox for awhile, until it goes dead :D haha

I don't own one but if you look at the 510 copper pin/connector, there might be a slot for a flat head screwdriver. Just turn in clockwise to make it longer and vice versa.
thanks plumeofred, i've decided not to ajust the screw on the billow. i'll just keep the billow with my ipv,n the subtank remains on the subox.

It shouldn't read 9.9ohms. If your IPV3 can fire it, then it must be the fault of your 510 connection for the subox. It isn't spring loading so it might not be making a good connection.
must be the 510 pin on my subox is getting too low after mths of abused. its better to sticked the subtank with the subox, since it works with it. i'll simply vape on different mod instead of switching tanks
