Seems I have a problem with repair kits

Are the center pins that fit in the 510 connector different lengths for the mini, and mini 2.0/2.1 and the Grand? The reason I ask is that the ones I have, have about 1/8" approx. movement up and down when the feeder tube nipple is tightened down. I ordered kits for the mini, and mini 2.0/2.1, and I'm wondering if I got kits for a grand by mistake.

tightening the RM2 down does snug the center pin down to where there is no up and down slop. Maybe that will keep it from leaking.

There should be no slop if you got the center pin down where it should be to begin with & definitely no leaking.....Rob's video shows the center pin installment really well, maybe you need to get it seated better?

I installed it watching the video. Apparently there is something I'm still missing. After seating the center pin, I installed the firing pin but did not get that "click" when pushing it on, but got it on as far as it would go. Then I screwed the feed tube nipple on tight. There is approx. 1/8" movement up and down of the center pin. On one kit I screwed it on too tight trying to get the movement out of it, and broke it.

In re-watching the video, it seems my firing pin does not slide all the way on. You can see a gap between the firing pin, and the body. This is the amount of up and down movement I get.

The center post is not setup to so you cant push it up its designed for down pressure I think your all set

Check your white gasket in the catch cup. I broke mine by putting my rm2 in too hard. I noticed after I broke it I had the same gap as you do.

Mine is the same way. Has worked just fine so far, it's been a week.
