No the whole point of high wattage mods is not to get away from sub ohm completely i use a rda with .5 ohm dual micro coils but the problem is the coils heat up to slowly on a mech therefor i have a ivp3 so i can still push it at 75 watts or more and still get the same performance as a lower ohm build on a mech but more surface area on the wick.

I agree. Surface heating area is key. In the past a mech would struggle to heat up this build. It's 7/6 wraps .6 ribbon. Two strands of German silica. dual coil at 0.8 ohm I could run this at 100 watts. But all that does is scorch the flavorings. I run it at 20-22 watts. Its a cool flavorful vape, with plenty of cloudage :D

Am really considering a Seigali 100W for sub ohming with an Aspire Atlantis attomizer. Has anyone had experience with the Seigali 100W?

Yes i have using one with a 0.5Ω dual coil build and all is good.

Got some samsung 25R 2500mah batteries in it.

Also using it on a single coil 1.7Ω build.
