Self made mod holder

Here's a mod holder I made for my cars cup holder. Got sick of it rolling around in the passengers seat. Its 304 stainless 2"i.d. tubing with 14 ga. 304 stainless plate I tigged to the bottom. I then used a center drill bit for the indentations on the bottom. I then sanded and blended in the welds for a seamless look and then gave it a bushed finish.

I really like that. Normally I stick mine between the seat and center console since I have to shift all the time being in a manual and I don't like holding it.

That is very classy looking. It looks like you used foam pipe wrap as a filler, good MacGyver. I'm lucky that my Honda Fit has two long narrow compartments in the console. They're a bit short for my Egos, but long enough to keep them from flying around.

Thanks everyone for the thumbs up. I'm trying to find some thinner wall foam so I can put 3 or 4 mods in it. Or maybe 2 mods and 1 box mod. I also want to make a top cap that threads on. Maybe throw the top cap on the lathe and machine in some lines.

Hey if you want to make the filing easier go buy a fun noodle. Those floating things for the pool. If you cut it down to height it's one solid piece with a hole in the middle.
