Sending analogs to Canada by mail

My friend from Malaysia wants to send me a few Malaysian packs of smokes. I live in Canada. Does anybody have any experiences with sending smokes internationally by mail?

I've dealt with sending cigars internationally. Most countries have issues with tobacco products entering/exiting without proper credentials because of the tax issue. Just have him write "novelty incense" or something on the customs form. They aren't going to check a small package.
