After hearing my brother tell me the Herkakes rta-2 is so much better than my Griffin 25 I broke down and ordered one this morning...any of you folks own one of these? What are your thoughts on it? And what would you recommend for a good build without using clapton coils? Thx!

Ive just recently bought one of these and have been using it for almost 2 weeks now and have come across a few issues.

1. The build deck was missing an o-ring from new. i would suggest you check yours when it comes. the build deck itself screws out of the bottom of the base, and at the bottom of that build deck should be an o-ring. Mine was missing and juice was seeping into the bottom of the base and going through the 510 pin and into my mod. The 510 pin was loose also so had to tighten it and since then i havent had any leaking through the 510 pin anymore.

2. The glass on mine does not sit deep enough and there is a slight gap which makes juice seep through every time i open up the top of the tank to fill up the juice. Have tried changing the o-rings without any luck and still happens. Have communicated with Sense and waiting for a resolution. When the top cap is on, the vacuum holds the juice in and haven't had any leaking issues from the glass.

3. Juice seems to somehow work its way into the base, not sure if its because i have my juice flow control open on max and its over-saturating the cotton then dripping into the air channels. The next time i clean the tank i will try it with the juice flow just opened half way and see if it still wicks fine and reduces the amount of liquid in the base.

Overall, its not a bad tank for the price. I purchase it due to the size of the juice channels. Had a griffin 25 before and this one definitely wicks a lot better, however just felt the build quality wasn't as good as the griffin.

Hope this helps you mate!

I appreciate the the heads up KH41..I'm vaping the Griff 25 as I type this..once I got the wicking figured out I've had no leaks and it vapes good..The herk should be in a few days and I'll definitely check for that o-ring in the base..thanks again for your post..

Seems to fit flush OK..that bottom gasket a has a little ridge that seats on the inside of the glass..noticed it when I took it apart...No leaks so far, lol

*As you can see in the previous pic I ran the cotton tails all the down in the slots, you can actually see the cotton with the juice control wide open.. I'm happy to report no dry hits and no leaks either..Bacon cotton wicks fast and I get awesome flavor and good clouds..on my fourth fill-up, :)
