Hi,
Recently bought a mod and am working on getting the right setup and have a few questions. The mod I bought is a Sentinel clone, I think it is anyways. I bought this one here: vaporbeast.com/sentry-mod.html?acc=c4ca4238a0b923820dcc509a6f75849b when it went on sale. Not sure what clone it is, but looks like some sort of Sentinel clone.
I am wondering if this mod would be able to use a variable watt kick. I am looking at this in particular: fasttech.com/products/1411/10006524/1501000-variable-wattage-kick-module-for-mechanical-mod-pv .
I understand that some mods won't accept a kick because the ground wire won't touch the side correctly and will not provide short circuit protection. I have not used a kick before and not familiar with how they install or sit in the mod.
"IF" this mod can't use a kick what are some other options to provide at least a short circuit/discharge protection to the mod?
I bought a 510 to Ego adapter so I won't wear out the threads since they are aluminum.
Is there any other things I should know, or to keep in mind, with the Sentinel style mod? This is my first mech mod, so is there anything I should know/keep in mind for a mod in general?
Thank you for any help,
Raavysaavy
