A GG user bought a used GGTS from another GG user. The new owner didnt have a serial number to his engraved tube but it still had the wings and GG logo. When he asked the previous owner about this issue the previous owner told him that a friend of him makes GG copies and parts.

If a GG doenst have a serial then its not unique and you better send this "GG" back. Also you must always register your GG number on GG wiki or here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/118053-gg-serial-numbers.html

That way you will be sure that you have on your hands what you paid for. And if your serial already exists on GG wiki then you will know that this "GG" is fake.

This is the pm that a GG user send me. If he wants to expose himself he can do it and I also suggest it

Hello Imeo, The person that I bought it from on this forum has the ecf name ................ He told me that he has a local friend that copied a lot of your parts. I didn't think he was going to be honest about it but he was and at least I do know that it is fake. I know now to never buy something of yours unless it has a serial number!!

Yeah, the wiki is a great tool for authentification. I don't buy or sell a lot in the classifieds but after reading all this stuff about copies I would be extra careful and make sure that the part is either registered here or in case of atomizers the seller has at least some (honest and not copycat) reputation over here or in another forum.
Its actually quite sad to see peoeple getting fooled.
